Abrasion and acid resistant microcrystalline alumina ceramics ■ Product performance and characteristics. Acid-resistant and wear-resistant microcrystalline alumina ceramics, due to scientific formulations and advanced manufacturing processes, exhibit outstanding performance characteristics including high density, strong toughness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. Laboratory comparative tests have shown that under specific operating conditions, its working surface wear resistance is significantly better than that of metal materials such as manganese steel and high-chromium iron, with a bonding strength to metal substrates reaching 300 kg/cm². Equipment manufactured with acid-resistant and wear-resistant ceramics demonstrates significantly extended service life and markedly improved overall economic benefits. The hardness is generally above HRA 80, with a maximum of HRA 92 or higher.Acid-resistant and wear-resistant microcrystalline alumina ceramics possess a unique crystal structure and excellent chemical stability. Tested in accordance with GB/T 75594 standards, our microcrystalline alumina ceramic specimens were immersed in a 1:9 nitric acid solution heated to 100°C for 1 hour. Weighed using an analytical balance with 0.01 mg sensitivity, the mass loss after corrosion was only 0.066 mg, which is approximately one eight-thousandth of the national standard requirement (no more than 7.5 mg).In petrochemical desulfurization processes, sulfides (mainly H₂S, along with small amounts of organic sulfides such as carbon disulfide, mercaptans, thioethers, and thiophenols) cause severe corrosion to metal equipment. H₂S, a highly toxic gas, poses safety and environmental hazards if leaked. The use of microcrystalline acid-resistant and wear-resistant alumina ceramics as anti-corrosion linings effectively mitigates sulfide corrosion on equipment, significantly extends the service life of desulfurization equipment, and reduces production costs. This product has been applied across various industries for many years, and its comprehensive performance has been recognized and well-received by numerous customers. |
